I'm not sure I'm finished with these yet.  I just whipped them up out of felt, stuffed the toes, sewed on some trim & bells then made tags using photo iron ons.  Can you think of further embellishments?

I really love the idea of putting photo tags on them, it makes them so much more personal.
Hm and I think they would look great with yellow or gold stars on them Smiley

I love them, too.  Maybe add their names, first initial or monogram below the photo tags?  It feels like there's still a lot of red to be dolled up.  "Lacing" up the front with pompoms or momre bells at the end of the laces?

Ooo.  Thanks.  Those are great ideas.  I love lacing up the fronts.

depends on the theme you're going for,

feathers, fishnet, (red/black)lace, xmas colors, patterns, stripes, glitter, sequins, jewels, more bells.  i'm actually going to try to make one later, i'll put up a picture when i'm finished Smiley

I had the idea to put my granddaughter and grandneices picture on the felt stocking, but when I tried it, The picture was all blurry, can anyone help? I know there must be a way because the opposite side of my stocking has a perfect transfer of Santa. Huh I will appreciate any help you may give. This is my first inspiration in a long time. Thanks and I wish you Lovely Holidays.
