Love the dinosaur and the Serenity trading cards.  What a good idea.

I am pleased to report that my package from peps was waiting for me when I got home.  Check out all the cool stuff I got:

This is everything together.  Shiny!

Some closeups:

Blue Sun, Jaynestown (the crappy town where you're a hero), and Madrassa Companion House shot glasses.  I have an extensive shot glass collection, and these will fit in very nicely.  Thank you.

character magnets

wee Jayne hat (made into a pin).  I love this so much, it's not funny.

Thank you peps!  You're the best!

Yay!  I just got my package from inle_rah!

First, I opened this gorgeous Serenity Tote bag:

It's lined with a pretty satiny fabric!

Oh... it looks like there are some stowaways in the tote's pockets...

They are little Kaylee and Zoe stuffies! (Kay-wee and Zo-wee?)

And because I'm not spoiled enough at this point, there are some great Firely character coasters!

... strawberry stitch markers for my knitting

And the best Kaylee inspired stuff ever!  A shiny butterfly and flower windchime:

And my favorite thing...  a handmade Kaylee journal!

Thank you so much inle_rah!  Everything is more than I could have dreamed of!

P.S.  My kitty loved all the green ribbon.

HAHA! Smiley okay okay okay. I found the camera. I was terribly worried that I had a "my mother moment" and stuffed it in to that box with everything else. Smiley Fortunately, it remains in Iowa! Smiley

SO- here's my haul!

This is everything. There are BUMPER STICKERS and a cool Kaylee sign and a completely awesome Fruity Oaty Bar squid and my favorite- Kaylee's Interengine Fermentation Recipes: Warning: Do Not Attempt Fermenting Near a Capissen 38 Engine as it Will Cause the Ship to Fall Right Out Of the Sky! Seriously. BYA's the coolest. Smiley

Here's a better view of the stickers. I think "My other car was destroyed by reavers" is my favorite. Smiley

Here's the Kaylee sign. It says "to hell with this. I'm going to live" HAHA!

I had fun photographic the squid. I think he wants to come live on my desk at work:

And here is the title of the book.

I wanted to take more pictures of it, but the shine on the pages made it REALLY hard to get a good pictures. Anyway, I can't wait to go try it out! There are pictures from firefly, GREAT recipes, and blank pages for me to add some of my own! It's on really nice paper too. The page with Badger's Cockney Cream even has a bottle of bailey's that reads "Badger's Cockney Cream"!! It's AWESOME!!! I wanted to post right away so I haven't looked through the whole book yet, but HOW FUN!!

This was a really fun swap. Thank you so much BYA! And thanks for organizing Sharre! Smiley

Wow, things are moving faster than hungry reavers now!I'm having trouble keeping up  Wink

Everything looks so brilliant, I see a lot of ya getting "make me one, make me one, pretty pretty pretty please PM's"  and a lot of wisting lol

And on a captain-y organiser-y note, I'll be giving out the next lot of feedback sometime later today. Right now I need to get back to typing furiously on the stuff that pays the bills. deadlines suck. So if appears that your organiser has gone AWOL for the next few days don't panic.

OK, I think I need that bumper sticker that says "My other car was destroyed by Reavers".  My last car *was* destroyed by Reavers - read: a stupid New England driver who never should have gotten a driver's license in the first place.  Angry

What lovely things everyone has gotten.  I can't wait for my partner to receive... *darn holidays*

I am so glad you liked everything. The Fruity Oaty Octopus almost got kidnapped by a friend before I could get it in the box...LOL

I do need a better way to do those eyes though. Yeah...I am such a geek. I always drive myself nuts thinking about how I could do things better. Tongue

Peps, I am glad you liked your shiny presents, and I love it when my partner and I receive on the same day.  Somehow, that just makes it more fun.  Smiley

This gallery is really moving along, huh?  The Fruity Oaty Octopus is hilarious, and I love the bumper stickers.  Nice job.

To add to the frenzy: I got my stuff today!!

First:

I grinned the moment I saw Altair had played off the letter I sent with her package!

Here's everything altogether:

The nonsense bracelet:

Sadly it's a little big for my wrist, but I loves it.

Recipe cards! With Book!

An apple pincushion, in beautiful fabric. And I TOTALLY needed a pincushion; I lost the lid to my box of pins.

Three notebooks, with characters and quotes. Much joy.

They are even beautiful inside:

And the most gorgeous needle roll ever. I can't wait to put needles in it!

There were also two necklaces, one with the serenity logo and one with a red chinese bead, and an Earth-That-Was Ukrainian pyanksy egg! Altair, I couldn't get pics of the egg to come out, please post some if you have them so everyone can be amazed at your work! It had a picture of River on one side, "No power in the verse can stop me" on the other, and the "edge" was lined with blue hands and the two by two quote. Simply SHINY!

I love it all!
