I got a fantastic package today from craftydeb!!  I LOVE it!!  There is lots of felt...just like I was longing for!  Also, there were some really adorable, vintage crosstich/embroidery transfer patterns.  Here's the loot:

She also sent a REALLY adorable sunflower purse for my little girl that she has put down only once for about 5 seconds today  Cheesy  Here she is with her fake smile and purse:

Thank you again craftydeb!! I LOVE everything!

Since I have a sleeping baby in my lap, I decided to get caught up on pictures of the lovely stuff I've received:

First, I received a lovely set of stitch markers from Samsara:

Then I received a HUGE set of crafty reading material from baby-bumblebee (excuse the blurry spot that must be a fingerprint on my camera lens):

Thanks so much to both of you!

And since Dulcinea has received, I'll also post some pictures of the skirt I made for her:

and a detail shot:

I'm glad you like it, Dulcinea!  Unfortunately, I couldn't get any action shots as everyone here is either too big, or too small (and taking a picture of a 4 year old boy holding a skirt up at his waist level on a chair didn't sound especially helpful).  Grin  There's a small chance the dog might be the right width around... but it's a bit late now.  Wink

I received the cutest hippo pajama pants from ZaftigMomma today.  Bright green!  One of my favorite colors.  I don't have a camera so I asked her to post pics.  Just wanted everyone to know how happy I am - you'll see them shortly.

LMAO!!  I have to admit, when you started your note with something about a size 12 (and I'm about a size 4), I got a little worried....

I'm not sure I like the idea of being the size of your dog, though!

Pattern sizes vary drastically from ready to wear sizes, and I went with the waist measurement (since that's the fitted part of the skirt).  I also ended up taking it in some after I made it (about 1 1/4", so it may well have been a pattern size 8 or 10, and most pattern sizes are about 2 sizes larger than RTW). Of course, that depends on the amount of ease in the pattern as well...  it can be complicated.  Roll Eyes

That's one of the reasons when I sew for people, I hate when they say something like, "I wear a large."  Roll Eyes  Measurements are so much more helpful (thank you for providing yours, by the way)!

ROFLMAO!!  I'm making square eggs!!

Melenbread sent me a mickey mouse telephone, and a square egg maker - unfortunately, Mickey had a run-in with the Queen of Hearts, who promptly screamed OFF WITH HIS HEAD...  so we're working on re-attaching his head.

Here's what the square egg maker can do.... I was a little dubious, but this is hilarious!
