LMAO!!  isn't that a riot?

I'm thinking I have to track down a source from which to buy them, and get about a dozen of them, and just start including them in swap packages....... we ALL need to have square eggs!

LMFAO!! I want a square egg maker! It would be great for catering at my sisters forthcoming civil partnership Grin My darling "square peg" could have square eggs  Grin

the contraption has 4 parts - a chute, which is square on the inside.  a small square plare that fits in the bottom, another square piece with a peg on the top, and then a screw on lid - so you put the bottom square in the chute, put in a still warm/hot hard boiled egg, put in the other squared piece, and then screw on the lid - and it pushes against that peg, forcing it down.

because the egg is still hot, and softer, it forces it into a square - then I just let it sit for a minute or so, and then take it apart and pop the egg out.

one thing i noticed is that the texture changes a little bit - either that, or I overcooked the eggs, which is also a strong possibility - but they are a little firmer, i'm assuming because they've been compressed.
