Very nice stuff everyone! Chain smoking is smokin', indeed.

I received a wisty surprises package from the littlest ninja 2 days ago. She sent me 2 necklaces and a brooch:

Aren't they pretty?  Grin The coral/turquoise one happened to match the bright blue polo I was wearing when I got it, and I put it on immediately.

Because these were surprises, I didn't know I was getting the rainbow necklace, and was claimed for it in another claim, but the more the merrier I suppose!

I got a nifty kit from kitschkween - perler beads -  and can I just say one thing?  I am totally sold on these ridiculous things.
I accidentally put this over in the ows22 gallery - but here it is, where it should be... and I feel silly.  I was in a hurry.  I really wanted to get these pics up and didn't notice the 22 instead of 23 when I pulled it up from my bookmarks!

Here is the kit - before shot...

Know what the best thing about it was?  An hour - Yes an HOUR of quiet!!  I cleaned off my computer desk while they set these babies up!

Know what's even better than an hour's worth of peace and quiet??
Two quiet boys working TOGETHER to fill in the holes of the 3rd form that she had sent us!

and the best part of it all? I got a huuuuge hug from Logan and a kiss - both of which are very rare with him - he doesn't hand those out too often!

if you look really close you can see the M for Mom and the heart shape Logan designed in the star shaped one!

thank you sooooo much for the relaxing hour I got!
We are off to the post office to post out my ows packages and my june wishlist package.  All sealed up and ready to go..

A dollar store up north I went to had these kits - yeah, for a dollar - and I didn't know what to do with them so I didn't buy them.  Yes, I am currently kicking myself in the butt since I will never see them down here at a dollar store since all we have is the Dollar Tree.  I really miss those mom and pop dollar stores up there!

The one I made for you is longer so you can wear them both together ;]

I can't believe how much she sent!  Thank you SOOO much!

Thank you lapoli, for the wonderful package of knitting and sewing goodies. I've already started using lots of it Smiley

Here's the stash:

Theres velcro, elastic, thread, tailor's chalk pencils, knitting needles, straight pins, awesome buttons, fabric, heat bond, and handmade lavender soap.

Here's a closeup of the neat fabric and yummy soap:

Thanks again!

zippers, craft wire, and kit-kats from the UK! she really sent 5, but i ate one as soon as i opened the package. i'm not crazy, they really are better than the ones made in the US.
