Ok, I think I'm doing the right thing, but I want to ask to make sure.  I started doing the back leg and I'm debating about the instructions.  When you say this:

(6 sc, dec 2, dec 2, dec 2) 9; 9;

should I end up with a total of 3 rows of 9?  Or 2?  I'm taking it to mean that the directions in parentheses count as a row, then 2 more rows of 9 follow.  So, I end up with 3 rows of 9.  Right?  Or wrong?

Ah, now the way I've written it means only 2 rounds of 9 - if there's no semi-colon then it's not another round. However, I checked my notes and there should actually be 3 rounds, so I've gone back and corrected it. Just to make it clear, the instructions on how to increase or decrease are in brackets (sorry, parentheses) and if there is a number right after, then that's how many stitches you should have ended up with.

Thanks for pointing that out!

 Thanks for the clarification!!  Grin  Hey, I just noticed something funny! On the wings, where it's got the numbered rows, you had an 8 with a parentheses behind it and instead it made the little sunglasses smiley.  Haha!

Oops! It looked cool, but I changed it to make sure it was clear.

pickled_peppers - I love your dragons, and all the different colours you've made them in. The little creature in your avatar is cute too!

I LOVE this pattern!!! I have already made 2 of them. The first one is a dark purple, and the 2nd one is a rust, burgundy, blue, green, etc. variegated. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern!
