I'm racking my brain as xmas grows nearer, trying to design something as simple as a pillowcase!! I've been cruisin the internerd looking for a photo of what I have in mind, but I cannot find anything to put up here to better illustrate what I'm after.

Perhaps it will suffice to ask: is there anyway anyone knows of to make rounder/slopping/less"goemetrical" edges to paper piecing desings?

Everything I can come up with has really sharp edges. I could applique pieces on, but is there another way?!?

if your local library has this book or if your bookstore does you should check it out. i looked at it briefly and i remember they have blocky paper pieced flowers and then a section on how to make them more curvy. now i wish i would have read it cause then i could just tell you :S sorry.

Thanks SarahFroggy! That's exactly what I was trying to describe - how it still looks like paper piecing, not applique, but it has a rounder, softer look to the angles.

now for the credit card hurdle...  damn.

Luckily with the "look inside" option I was atleast able to have a better look at the details. I wonder how they do that wacky stuff??
