You know, most people start with "normal" swaps, but this is my first "normal" swap - I've only done ongoing and sweat shoppe swaps before! How exciting  Grin

Ok, I'm wondering: Do we craft a bag - goodie bag - or do find something to put everything in and craft another little item to put into the bag? Or do we do both? I'm a little confused here  Roll Eyes At first I thought I'd just get stuff and craft a little item and send it all off... you guys are actually crafting bags to put the stuff into? (Which would be fine by me, mind).

And somewhere in the thread somebody asked about putting old craft magazines in - I'd love to get crochet pattern, whether the magazines are new or already dog-eared doesn't matter to me (as long as they're either in English or German). And stash yarn'd be fine, too, I mostly do little projects, where it's ok if I don't have more than one or two balls of the same yarn. As long as it's good for crocheting, I'll be happy.

I want to go to Joann's, too.... everybody is talking about getting stuff there.. *sigh*

Hmm, I was under the impression that we would craft something like a project bag, and fill it with supplies or patterns. These things can either be bought or taken from one's personal stash.

And if you would like, you could also make something that relates to knitting/crocheting, (like magnets or a stencilled tshirt or something with witty knit/crochet phrases) or you could make something that is actually knit/crochet (like dishcloths or something)

Hope I wasn't too confusing for you.

I believe ... and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ... we collect a number of items up to the price limit of our partners favored craft/whatever they request and then we would also make a small item to go with the theme of the package.

Of course you can always make more Smiley

It holds knitting stuff!  Cheesy

My knitting bag is really small, kinda purse sized.  I can still cram it full of baby blanket I've found!

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.
