They can be different sizes, really, like a sock knitter could have a little project bag, but I like a nice big knitting tote because I use the long needles a lot.

pockets are also really useful.

I have lots of different sizes of bags.

In two more days we get partners! So maybe I can take advantage of the 50% off needle and hooks sale at Hobby Lobby!

My knitting bag is just a large felted bag I knitted (theres a pic of it on my blog on the right side of page) up one week. Unfortunately, it dosent have pockets so everything is humble jumble in there. I really ought to get one of those sheep measuring tape holders but I don't know where to go for them and my tape measure is a knotted mess. Bah.

Ok I'm about to send in my questionnaire but I have to wait until I get home so I can see which needles I need/ do not need.

Hope to have positive feedback in time to join.

I have a MESS of straight knitting needles that need a new home.

I have a new home.   Smiley  Actually I have a building lot that will contain a new home in about 4 months.  Po-tay-to - Po-tah-to.

I can't wait to get a partner.  I seriously love the bag I'm crafting so much that I can't decide if I want it to be her style and send it off or get to craft something different so I can keep it.  So exciting.

Apologies to whoever were upset by my absent.  I was in and out of the hospital from December 2007 until June 2008.

**sniff**  It is official, I will not be able to participate.  There is no chance of me being out of swap limbo by signup.  I very much hope for a round two.  VERY much hope for a round two.  This round seems super popular, so I think I could be in luck for a round 2.

Another idea along the bag line is making pouches for inside the bag.  For myself, I already have a knitting bag that my sister made for me and I really wouldn't want a new one, but the bag has no pockets.  Making pouches to put some things in would be useful (like darning needles, measure tape, place markers, etc).  Another idea if you sew is to make a knitting needle or crochet roll.
