A St. Vincent DePauls Thrift Store just opened up on 34th St N and 5th Ave N.  I got some rockin vintage pillowcases there.

Will have to check that one out!
I almost don't want to share this one- but in Pinellas Park there is a HUUUUGGGGE thrift store called Thrift City USA.  Its at Park Blvd and 49th St.  Theyve got everything.

Yay, my first post and I actually had something interesting to share. Smiley

It's actually located at 1st Av. N. and 34th St., and thanks for turning me on to it, aspenwall.

My advice: go early! The sign on the door even listed the wrong hours; they close at 4:30pm (at least on Fridays). At 4:20 they made an announcement, basically "pay for your purchases and get out!" Then they locked the door so the people in the parking lot couldn't get in...

There is another Thrift City USA at the northern end of Pinellas county too, on 19 just shy of Holiday. Haven't been there yet, but Pinellas Park loc. is great for clothes.

the thrift city usa in holiday is so ultra neat. they have a half off wednesday and i scored a sweet hip length coat with faux fur on the inside and a brand new what would joan jett do t-shirt for 10.50. they're open rather late though. i'm not sure of the exact time, but it's around 8 or 9.

My mother and I always hit The Salvation Army on 66th street on Wednesdays. It's half price on all clothes, and often shoes. But the real reason is because it's huge. I've found Dolce and Gabbana, there. And last week I got an orange Sears vintage typewriter for three bucks.
