(Thanks for moving it! Smiley)

As seen here: http://www.designboom.com/shop/cassettewallet.html
I really like the concept of these wallets, but not enough to pay $39(+4 s/h) for one.. especially since I have so many cassette tapes sitting around the house with nothing to do!

There's my version of the wallet.. I wasn't sure what kind of glue I should use to attach the fabric to the plastic.. I figured hot glue would just peel off, so I used this stuff called Duco cement, but it isn't that great either.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of glue I could use? Thanks!

Oh wow, that's fantastic!  Think of the possibilities...so many old cassettes, so little time...heehee!  Grin
Actually, I don't know how you did this, but it's so cool.
(And I like your cassette choice...my daughter has this book, I think...isn't that story about a teddy bear or something?  Cheesy)

Oh, and PS: I think that glue you're thinking of is that E6000 or something like that...I've never used it, but I know it's a very bonding glue.

Hm, according to thistothat.com (Because people have a need to glue things to other things Cheesy ) you should use 3M 80 or 3M 77.  The website has links to places you can buy them, although I dont know if you wanted to spend any money on the glue.

E 6000 is a pretty decent all purpose glue. I use it for lots of stuff.
Now, if it were me, I would heat a needle and melt small holes around the edge to tack the zipper to--and glue with E 6000.

A Dremel with a tiny drill bitwould probably make the holes too.
