i totally just added that to my wists (www.wists.com)...and then showed my husband, who said, "oh, yeah, i've totally seen those...it's just a tape glued onto a wallet, right?" which i hadn't even thought of. you could probably also just get a cheap little change purse/wallet the same size as a tape and use E6000 or some other strong glue to attach them. just a thought! Smiley

i love the one you made, and your choice of tape. i'm totally making one!

Hm, according to thistothat.com (Because people have a need to glue things to other things Cheesy ) you should use 3M 80 or 3M 77.  The website has links to places you can buy them, although I dont know if you wanted to spend any money on the glue.

Holy crap this website it awesome!  Thanks so much!  And thanks everyone else for commenting and the glue suggestions  Smiley

I have about 6 more cassettes to rip apart and make anew, so I'll probably dish out the cash and buy better glue.. specially since I'd use it for other things as well!

haha, it's my baby Smiley  I really need to start using it more often now that schools out and I'm not so busy..

Here's a mini tutorial for you guys..
You need a cassette(duh), a 9 inch zipper, felt or an other kind of fabric to line the inside, and really good glue.
Break the cassette apart, I looked it up first to make sure I didn't break it in any wrong way... (http://www.ehow.com/how_114047_fix-audiocassettes.html
Break off or file down any plastic pieces that are sticking out.. I used my handy dandy Dremel tool.  Be careful here if you're using a Dremel.. it spins fast and actually melts the plastic as it grinds it down.. so you'll have to watch out for tiny bullets made of molten plastic.. I got hit by a few of them today.
Glue the zipper around the inside three edges of the tape and then glue the lining down and ta da! Done. Smiley

That's how I made mine.. First I was going to sew a zippered pouch and then glue the tape on the outside, but then I figured I could just glue the zipper in instead, and eliminate the sewing.

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.
