I am in love with plying with thread. I really like the affect and I am not into how much time it takes to ply two handpun singles together. I got some cool thread from michaels this week and made this---

I never even realized that you could do this! i mean, why not, right? But wow!
What is the original yarn that you used? I reall like the effect of this. I would really love to see some of it knit up!

Pretty.  I have recently started plying with thread, and I agree that it is a lot of fun and can produce some excellent results.

red_phooka- I don't really understand your question. The yarn I plied with the thread was singles from that I spun from sheep shed super wash roving if that's what you were asking....

This yarn is so amazing.  I wouldn't have thought that turquoise would go so great with rainbow, but this is just gorgeous.
I would not have guessed that you have only been spinning for a month, either.

That is a very pretty skein!  The rainbow thread really goes well with the turquoise singles.  Nicely done!

I love the yarn! I have only been spinning for a month and i am no where NEAR that good. The yarn would look pretty as a hat, or a scarf, or fingerless mittens....ok so it would look good being just about anything!  ^^
