My first real polymer clay project (underwater scene)

Hi everyone!

I have been commenting on other people's posts for awhile now, but haven't gotten a chance to post one of my projects! I finally found my card reader so I can now join in on all the fun.

This wasn't my first creation with polymer clay (I tried a few things here and there), but it is my first real project with it.

It is composed of small polymer clay "tiles" for the background. The fish itself is made of polymer clay, a painted shell for the eye, and an old earring piece for the tail. A mixture of found/purchased shells are on the sand, and some leaves from an old fake plant were used to make some "kelp". The entire piece is on copper wire form.

nanner - Thanks! Yes I plan on hanging it on a wall. I am debating though how I should hang it, or if I should add anything else before hanging it. What do you think?

SupernovaDesigns - The little shiny part in the lower right hand corner is actually a piece of polished abalone. I love abalone and occasionally find some pretty unpolished (of course ) pieces on the beach, but I just couldn't pass it up!

I must have missed this before... what a cool piece though!  I love mixed media too, so doubly cool.

Love the tiles! (did you marble mica-clay like Pearl with blue or brown?)... adds a lot of interest to same-color tiles. 
Can't see well enough what you did for the scales though; they almost look like lightly tinted and marbled translucent clay... or are they non-clay?

Will you be hanging it in a bathroom or elsewhere?  I'd think it's fine to use only the WireForm as a framing element, but if you wanted you could add a flat piece of driftwood, or a wood plaque or something, behind that too... might make it easier to hang in some cases, though not really necessary.
