I've been making felt wrist bands due to some inspiring people here on craftster but have come across a problem. I can use velcro and buttons but the neatness of snaps looks soo good but my problem is, is that they easily rip off and either it ruins the useless snap or ruins the felt bracelet. It could just be that I've been using metal snaps and maybe plastic ones are different? Huh If anyone has any suggestions it'd be a big help, but otherwise I'll stick to the velcro and buttons. Thanks! Wink

I think the problem is worse when you use acrylic felt than when you use wool felt. I used wool felt... You could try using an extra layer of felt or some other non-fray material to make it sturdier.

The material seems to do ok since I put interfacing on it and everything, I think it's just I have bad snaps. Thanks for the input and btw you have REALLY cute bracelets! Grin
