Great pic!
I feel kinda left out of the whole harry potter thing.. I've never read the books, never seen any of the movies, and now I worry I am too old to enjoy it (i'll be 30 in less than 2 weeks!)  Aw well, one of these days I'll get around to it anyway just because I gotta see what the hubbub is all about!  Mollytwin1, is that a harry potter scarf around Randolph's neck?  hee hee, now I will have to get serious about reading the books.  (but reading = time away from crafting! eek!)

Haha, that is a harry potter scarf.  I really wanted to make Randolph a Slytherin scarf (the evil house) but I didn't have any yarn in the right colors.  And you are not to old for Harry Potter.  One of my best friends is 31 and she loves them (books and movies) as much as me.  and my Aunt who is 60 reads them as well!  Randolph will be with me this Friday night to get the new book as well!  I am afraid he will be neglected until I am done reading it though...I stop all activity until I finish reading the books.  Luckily it only takes me two days though.

Okay, I HAD to post this because of the great place I took Al to.

http://www.greenwoodspacetravelsupply.com/

GREENWOOD SPACE TRAVEL SUPPLY
Here we are out front.  He is so excited, I think he peed (I"m not sure though)  Undecided

Al wanted to take back some oxygen as a souveneir.  I guess he didn't know about the jolt of energy he'd get off of it.  Woohoo!

This was the nice lady that made sure we knew what to expect

We had to tear Al away from the place!  I think he was a little homesick.

This is the coolest place ran by 826.  The fist time we saw it, we thought that someone took their hobbies a little too seriously.  Wink  It is a charity that helps teenagers to write better.  LOVE IT!!!! Cheesy

Is that the place that's actually a front for a school?

Yeah...I guess there are some in NYC, Chicago and maybe LA?  They all have different themes.  Anything you buy there goes towards helping the kids.  It's so shocking at first though.  I seriously thought it was a hippie that had too much money at first.  hee hee.  The fremont area has quirkie things like that but this was SO professionally done.  It's great and they are SO nice with great senses of humour.  I got Al a ton of stuff there for his trip back home (if he ever decides to leave...I hope he doesn't!)

Cheesy

Oh my goodness! Al looks like he is having a blast! Is he smiling in that first picture? I think he is...even though he doesn't have a mouth  Wink And that sounds like such a neat place! I'll have to add it to my list of places to go the next time I am out that way!

I have a couple of pictures of Kimi to post, but I have a swap item I have to go and finish so I will post the pics tomorrow...

Thanks Gizmonic!  Cheesy  Visitor Lucy is a pretty girl...a very good model. Wink

I also wanted to tell you that I had those wax figures too!  Brookfield Zoo used to have them as well.  They had dolphins and things like that.  Just an FYI...they do melt if in direct sun (while on a window sill).  That is how I lost mine that I loved so well.  A hairy goo of a mess.  Did I cure you of wishing they still had them yet?

CraftADDchick...CAN"T WAIT!  CAN'T WAIT!  And he DOES look like he's smiling when I went back and checked.  It's kind of like a smirk saved just for the laaaadaaaays.  hee hee.

I've been so busy this week with stuff for my weekend. Artie's been a great help getting things done, though he is a little confused as to why I'm making my own sacks... Roll Eyes He'll find out soon enough.

Artie and Estrella will both be meeting up (again Wink ) this weekend. Estrella is a little nervous about it all but quite interested in the outfit she is having made. Will post teaser pictures when I have more time (possibly not until after the event).
Having lots of fun so far.
