I checked out where you're at!!!  Holy cow that is isolated.  I live in Seattle and went up to the mountain for the holiday weekend.  GREAT place to visit but I AM a city girl.  I know that for sure now!  It was gorgeous.  I don't want to spoil anything but I'm talking double rainbow, perfect!  I was taking Al around for some pictures and it seemed like only the kids noticed Al that much.  One gentlemen helped him pose while my BF was elsewhere.  I can NOT believe how many tourists are up in that area.  It must have been that time of year.  It turns out you live really close to Paradise...how does THAT feel?  Wink  hee hee

Thats so funny because after being raised in Alaska this place doesn't seem isolated at all. I can understand what you mean compared to Seattle though...
I'm a total country girl - I lived in Seattle for almost 1 1/2 years and I thought I was going to go crazy  Shocked
Oooh double rainbows! Wow!
Like I said, the weather has been awesome for pictures. We have got to get the 4 wd going and head up to the lookout..

Marze and his foster family have been getting out-of-doors like crazy!  He helped take my daughter on her first fishing trip to McIver park about 20 miles east of PDX (we didn't catch anything unfortunately).  Here she is poking him in the eye for his generosity, "Mommy, this is his eye" she so obviously likes to point out (oops no pun intended lol).

Ouch!  Sorry about that, Marze!

Hmmmm...maybe it is some kind of cosmic communication... Wink

And, Kimi had a blast today, I think! She made a bunch of new friends, too!

And then she helped to build a catapult...

hahaha, I have wanted to poke Marze in the eye myself a few time...hahaha

Well tomorrow Randolph, a few friends, and I are all heading down to a coastal city for a bit.  I don't want to give away to much...but at least he will be getting out of the house for a bit!  But even though we haven't been doing to much in the past, besides catching a few movies and such, I have used the time wisely and I have finished making all the crafts I had planned to make him already (except for the photo journal of course).  So now I can use the rest of the time showing Randolph around!
