LOL...wait till I tell my Mom.  I knew there was a reason that I convinced her not to throw out my halloween stash from when I worked at a halloween store!

that's the raddest thing ever! my parents have some old xmas lights that they haven't gotten rid of yet, in fact, i have a good idea to use the white lights with yellow flowers! yay. you rock.

I've had flower lights like this making my dorm room a bit more bearable for a while now Smiley

Another source for flowers, if you're not set on a particular type, is those fake leis that you find at party stores (especially good if you have a party outlet store nearby!).

miss mom- we were doing something similar for Chinese New Year... but tacky people that we are, we stuffed take out containers with lights  Tongue about four lights per box, with a few lights between each box.

This inspired me to make some of my own out of some old silk flowers someone gave me. I think they came out quite nicely. This is a great idea!

Yay!  I just did this project and it turned out marvellously!  I used flowers from some old leis I had lying around.  It gives the rom a nice ambiance.
