Hello everyone!

I finally finished lprajogo's wonderful Orchid crochet cardigan.  It was one of April's Featured Projects.  I made this cardigan for my sister, and it fits her perfectly!

I made one modification, to the part of the cardigan below the "waistband".  In the original pattern, the bottom part flares out.  Instead of a flared bottom, I made a more fitted bottom by simply using the same shell and v-stitch pattern from the top half on the bottom.

The front

The back

The side

Stitch detail

Stuffed bobble buttons

Thanks lprajogo for making such a great pattern!

Hi everyone!  I'm Pseudoscorpion's sister  Grin

I just wanted to say how much I love the Orchid that my sister made me.  When Lily first posted her finished piece, I loved it so much that I "commissioned" my sister to make it for me.  I bought the yarn and the pattern, and Pseudoscorpion crocheted it for me (since I am more of a knitter than a crocheter).

I wanted to thank my sister for spending her time and effort making this cardigan for me.  I was able to watch it form in front of my eyes and I know how much work it was.

I'm going to knit her a sweater in return  Wink.

Yes, the colour is off for some reason.  In reality, it is a nice brilliant green.  Somewhere between the two shades that appear in the pictures (which were with and without flash).

I used Elann Sonata in Jade.  This was the recommended yarn -- very nice to work with!
