I made some beaded bangles the other day and thought I might as well try making a tutorial for once.

This is what you'll need:
~ A plain bangle
~ Wire
~ Bunch of beads
~ Wire cutter

Step 1: Start off by cutting a piece of wire in a manageble length.

Step 2: Put one bead through the end of the wire and make a loop in order to secure it.

Step 3: Wrap the wire around the bangle.

Step 4: Slip on another bead onto the wire.

Step 5: Wrap around the bangle and make sure the beads are fasten tightly. Repeat from step 4 until the wire ends. Secure the end by hiding it inside an already attached bead.

Step 6: Repeat from step 1 until the whole bangle is covered with beads. Done!

Let me know if anything is unclear. Since it's my first tutorial I'd be happy to receive constructive critisism. And please post pictures of your bangles if you do try this out! Smiley

Thanks for looking!

Thankyou Smiley
I cheated and bought already made bangles - just cheap ones - 50 for $2.50 they are thin and i think even seed beads or something similar would go okay with them Smiley

I bought them at Neds (a cheap store in South Australia) so I assume most cheap storres would have something similar in their jewellery section - or my other place to find useful things is the toy dept - dress up stuff for kids can be really cheap..

Hope that helps a bit...

How fun!  And what a great way to use up miscellaneous beads - I can just picture a multi-colored bracelet done up this way.  What a great idea!  Thanks!

Awesome!  I love these bangles.  I might try it with some stone bead chips I've had lying around for ages.

Since you asked for comments & crits on your tutorial, I've got one little thing:  it's always helpful to tell what kind of wire (what gauge) you're using.   Wink
