Thank you for the comments!
Here are some pictures where you can see more of the detail of the puppets, I hope they fit because they're big!

Those are great! The devil guy is awesome.

I love looking at puppets. I've tried making some before and failed miserably, so I know that they take a lot of hard work and patience.

What did you use to cut the foam? I've tried sculpting with an electric carving knife, but the results weren't very good. Did you cut off little bits of foam and glue them on for details, or were the puppets purely carved?

Very nice job! I hope you post more of your work (and some tutorials! Wink).

I would have a big problem trying to post a tutorial because it's very hard to write in english for me  Cheesy
It's carved with a cutter and the details are glue, like the eyes (they are ping-pong balls cut in half) and the inside of the mouth that is fabric.
I posted a picture of Ophelia in the toys board, but I will posted here too, even though is not a puppet per se, she was made for an exhibition.

I really like Ophelia's dress.
The old man's facial features are probably my favorite, though. Sometimes I help Cantus (who posted earlier) make his puppets. He uses a lot of the same materials if we aren't reconstructing something. Seeing your stuff is a good inspiration, and lets me know I am on the right track.
I also like how the first picture of all the puppets looks like some kind of strange family portrait.

They are a strange family indeed Smiley I might sound crazy, but they all have different personalities!. That picture was hard to take, we had a photographer and three people trying to get the puppets in the right position, we all end up having much more respect for the puppeteer because having your arms up is so painful!

What gorgeous puppets!!!  I am amazed that they are from something similar to foam.  I love puppets, but never tried to make any.  My daughter had tons of them when she was little.
Hope you will post more things soon!! Smiley
