DF wants a Viking helmet cake for a party coming up. I know I can bake the hat part in a bowl, but any ideas how I would go about baking the horns and then attaching them? Should I just make them out of cardboard & cover them with frosting? Thanks!!

Use a flat sheet cake and then cut them out as they should look attach with dowels and smother in frosting...i know i've seen this before I can't remember where....
