**Tutorials added***

I wanted to put this in the Vegetarian/Vegan forum, but it's not a recipe or a tip!

Here are some vegan cupcakes I made for a friend's knit night!  It took 4+ hours to make these out of plain marzipan.  It was my first time working with it, and it was a lot of fun!

I tried to make the different stages of knitting projects, so there is casting on, swatching, UFOs (the sweater), FOs (scarves), frogging, and yarn balls.

WOW! Shocked

These are amazing! If you were in doubt of baking talent, don't be! I'd be scared to eat them, they look so real! I'm sure your friends will love these! Post some pictures of the actual party, if you please? haha this could probably go in the Party Planning folder, but I like it here too.

Way to go! Smiley

Great tute! I'll definetly try this

Wow those look amazing!  And I love the fact that they're vegan, I made my first vegan cupcakes over the weekend but they weren't anywhere near as cool as yours Smiley

And vegan too!  Did you go off of any directions that are available online or are you just amazingly talented?

Thanks everyone!

I totally made up the decorations as I went along.  The cake part of the cupcake is from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, the best book ever!
