Help me find a sewing machine

I have a very basic beginners sewing machine with the most basic of stitches and I'm ready to move on to a different machine. I've used it for a while and it broke, so instead of repairing it I want to get a more advanced one. I want a machine that's not really advanced, because my mom has never used a sewing machine before and would like to learn. I would like the basics plus a little more, like button holes and such.

Please recommend a sewing machine!
