I finally finished my boondoggle keychain! I'm really pleased with it. It turned out a lot better than my first attempt. Sometimes, you just have to put a project away for a while, and when you pick it back up, everything becomes clearer.
(I curled the ends around a pencil, secured with clothes pins, and stuck in boiling water to make them stay curled.)

i actually just learned how to boondoggle a couple of weeks ago and i cant stop! its addicting.  your star keychain looks great. i havent tried adding beads to mine yet.

Thanks That was actually my first try at adding the beads in that way. It is addicting! I did that in a couple of hours cuz I just HAD to get it done today haha.
I learned how a lonnnnng time ago, but it was the simplest one there is. I came to the wonderful Craftster and people helped me out I love Craftster.

I did so many crafts growing up but somehow this one eluded me.  but im glad i finally learned.  ill try to take some pics of what ive made so far.  nothing too fancy yet.  oh and craftster is awesome. i cant tell you how much ive learned since i found it.

Great job! I love the whole thing especially the curls. I never gave any thought to do that.

Jane - I've learned a lot too. I'm getting married soon and used craftster as a major resource for ideas and tips. I'll be waiting for your pics
Bluwave - Thanks! I wouldn't have thought of the curls either, but I tend to read EVVVVERRYthing on packages, and it gave some tips, one of which was the curling.

Thanks to Craftster and Google, I have learned how to Boondoggle! (That's what we call it around here; I live in New York State) Actually, "The BoondoggleMan" is from Buffalo which is about 30 miles north of me. His website has great instructions! www.boondoggleman.c om

Yep, that's the one I learned from too! Great instructions, cuz before that website, the only ones I could do were the two strand ones that were straight up and down.
