Very cute, and Wow that you did it freehand!  Good job.  I like how his neck tips back to get to the chapstick.

I kinda think thread would show too much, through.  Maybe you already know this, but if you leave a long tail of yarn when you finish a piece, you can use that to attach it to the other pieces.  Doesn't make the sewing any easier, I reckon, but it does make for less yarn ends to weave in.

I didn't even realize that I did this freehand. That makes me happy. I always thought I'd never be able to work without a pattern!

I do leave long tails of yarn, when I remember, but it still gets a bit annoying. Ah well. I guess there isn't too much I can do to make it easier on me Smiley

I got the idea from these, by the way, to give credit where credit's due, but I did work after having only seen them the one time. Looking back at them now, I like mine more ^_^
