Sick of Built by Wendy yet?  Not me;-)
One more that I would like to share.
This is made from a teal/purple paisley print, and then a purple pillow case for the sleeves.

Front view:

I followed th pattern and put elastic in the sleeves of this one ... and I think I like it better.

Side view:

Well, that's all for now.
Have a nice night!

Ohh, I really like the way you made contrast sleeves! I think it gives a more structured look than most BBW tops. Great job!

It looks like it fits you really well.  Nice job.  I'm thinking I have to get that Built By Wendy pattern sometime.  Is it in the book Sew U?  I'm trying to remember...I know I got it from the library once.

Hey y'all.  Thanks for the compliments.  To answer a question from kedrock above, it is not from the BBW Sew U book, but rather is BBW Simplicity 3835.  I really, really, really reccomend this pattern!!!!!
Take care,
Drea

p.s. if you make it, I'd reccomend that you wash/dry it b/f you sew in the elastic.  Well, put the elastic in the casing, but do not sew it shut .. because with mine, even though I pre-shrunk the fabric, the elastic still shrunk  some.  After it came out of drier, I had to open up the casing on sleeves and neckline and put a longer pieces of elastic in.  But now it fits great, again:-)
