Hello everyone.  I've been lurking forever and think I'm ready to post something!  I made this for a friend's wedding gift.  It was really tough working on the black background.  I almost gave up many times, but I didn't!  It felt really good to push through and finish something that was tough.

I was totally inspired by the amazing Super Mario work here.  Craftster is such a great place!  Thank you all for your inspiration.

That is just too cute. And major kudos to you for not giving up. Tring to work with the black background would have driven me bananas.

Good stuff!

It's awesome!  I love how it's a fun, original, and not totally cheesy wedding gift.  I've seen some wedding xstitch that was so cornball.

Oh my Oh my...that is so awesome...I think working on the black background is hard too, I just started a harry potter bookmark, but gave up do to the difficulty of working with the black cloth.  I will pick it up again, when I find my patience.  I love your pac man wedding gift. That is so awesome.  I am newly married, and might have to make one for myself!!! hee hee your friends got married the weekend after me!!!great gift idea!

keep up the good work

i recommend working on your bookmark outdoors, or at least when it's sunny out.  having a light source coming in from the back of the project is the way to go.  power through and finish it!
