I'm happy to report that my 3rd set have lived up to their title: the 2nd bootie took me less than 20 minutes to knit! Finishing will happen tonight...

I like the color. I'm trying to knit Bunny one hour booties with this fuzzy yarn I have.  I have the same yarn in orange maybe I should make some fishy ones too. ::thinks::

Can I just say I LOVE these booties!?!?!   I have a shower Saturday... and still didn't have a set of booties I liked to go with a sweater I'd made. I also didn' t have chunky yarn. So I did like Debbie Stoller suggested and used two strands of baby yarn. They are traditional pink/white because that's what she asked for. Here they are!

Question to the amazing designer who has posted here. I thought these would be ADORABLE as a traditional black mary Jane.  Is there a way we could add in a "mock" sock , solid or stripes. How cool would that be?

Maybe you could add socks by picking up the stitches after you do the seaming and using short rows again to the get the shape of a sock.  Or use a sock pattern and use black and white to simulate the mary jane/sock look.

the pink and green is Paton's grace triple stranded.  The lavender is TLC acrylic double stranded.  I was a bit scared to try the two tone but I have always liked pink and green together...and little kids can get away with the most outrageous color combos.
