hey!

this is my first post to the regular completed projects (most of my embroidery so far has been sublime stuff).  This was also my first time embroidering on heavy black stretch knit and my first time using iron on tear away stablizer (from sublime) and the first hoodie I've embroidered

I printed the images off the internet the dinosaur was from a coloring book page and the letter was some kind of gothic font.

The stars are right above the left pocket and the dinosaur is on the right side diagonal from the stars.  The initials are on the back where they can be conveniently hidden by the hood if anonimity is important.  Sorry I didn't get an action shot before I mailed it away  Roll Eyes

It was very challenging working with the black but I put the design on the stablizer and kind of worked backward and I think it turned out okay in the end.

Thanks Smiley  The coloring book page was absolutely irresistable but it was hard to capture - on black everything looks like neon!

I love the lettering and the dino.  I find it hard to work on black but I am trying!

Thanks again everybody this has totally set my mind at ease ... This forum rocks!

I never heard from the person I sent this to and was worried it was terrible despite taking up way to much of my spare time trying to avoid making anything that looked like Barney!

Kittykill -the stars are my favorite part too especially because they are positioned so it looks like they are coming out of the pocket.
