What do you do when you're unemployed?
You stencil Geeky T-shirts!
Wings on the back of one of my running tanks:
(I just had to sneak my pretty cat in there!)

I luuuurv Zelda - so. . . .

My buddy John also did one:

I have had this shirt for a super long time, and it's always reminded me of Spocks uniform (original Trek). So I finally made the plunge!
(Live long and prosper!)

Old School meets New School?

Did this for an ex: He stole my original Doors shirt, which I think was from the 70s? Anyways, the original is ready to retire, as he wears the damned thing like 3 times a week. So I made a new one!
(here's me deep in though, just like the Lizard King!)

John loves the Boondock Saints. This was his first stenciled shirt. Ever. I think he did a pretty kickass job!

He also loves Bob Ross. So, here he is getting in the painting mood! Happy little trees, right?

John's Blue Sun T-shirt.

My Blue Sun T-shirt. Yes, that's a lobster on my head. Pretty cunning, don'cha think?

All of the shirts were done using the freezer paper method. These were our first shirts, my first was the Jim Morrison one. I must say:
I LOVE STENCILLING SHIRTS!
Feedback and comments appreciated!
Thanks for looking, guys!

Love the Blue Sun tshirts.  Walk down the street in that, people know you're not afraid of anything.  Also, any chance you got the stencil you used, can I borrow?

Wow!
Thanks for all your comments, guys! You've totally made my day!  Cheesy
For the Blue Sun Ts, we used this image:
http://www.average-bear.com/firefly/img/blue_sun_big.gif
Just took it into photoshop and desaturated it.
As for the Boondock Saints one. . . .
*tries to recall*
We got it off the net, though I can't quite seem to remember where.
This is the image that the stencil must have been from though!
http://www.mssimages.com/uploads/20060731/20060731_boondock_saints_1154391392870331015.jpg
Again, you would just slap 'er in photoshop, and fiddle with the levels and the tolerence. I would post my actual stencils here, but my computer is currently offline, so *sad face. . . bleh*
We should be having a few more stencils up and running soon, be sure to check back! Tongue
Thanks again for looking!

I plan on eventually having a set, once Zellers decides to get more ringers in *grrrr*
Kirk is next, then I just have to decide on a redshirt. Haven't quite narrowed it down between Scotty, Uhura, or Sulu.
Maybe I'll just have to make all three!

@quillian91
Well I can't find the site that I got the Bob Ross stencil from for the life of me Huh.  It really sucks because it wasn't a half bad site.  I thought it may have been from http://www.freewebs.com/stencilry/ but I don't see it there now.

Anyway long story short I remembered I still had the printed version with my shirt stenciling gear so I scanned it for you.  Forgive the fact that it isn't a solid black colour.  When it was printed it was on "draft" quaility to save ink.  If you have photoshop or something you could darken it up, otherwise it should be fine to just print out as is.

I love all of these shirts!  Especially Zelda and Bob Ross.  I cried when he died.  Did you know there is a Bob Ross video game in the works for the Wii?  How amazing is that?

Yeah I did hear about the Bob Ross game for Wii.  I got SO excited, just ask my friends Wink.  I heard that it is changing developers though, so hopefully *fingers crossed* it still gets made and doesn't end up cancelled.

With freezer paper you don't have to worry about stuff moving when you start painting it so to get the holes in letters you just cut out a tiny little shape and iron it where you want it.  It's a slow process of cutting out a dot and positioning it before ironing it on, but it really makes the shirt look professional.

I recently made the crest from Battlestar Galactica (which I haven't posted yet) and it had LOTS of tiny free floating pieces to position and cut out.

Hah!
I totally forgot to mention this when I posted. . .
I saw the boy that the Doors shirt was for the other day, and he informed me that one person actually noticed that I stencilled his name in the design. . . His buddy was freaking out, thinking that it had always been like that on the album cover.
(I know this is kicking a dead post, but I had to share!)
