Here's my new cute sundress! After having completed my first shirred top awhile ago (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=171184.msg1754185#msg1754185), I felt like trying to make a dress too. So this is what I came up with! It's a little bit too cold here in Sweden to wear it without anything underneath yet, but soon I'll be showing my legs off to the world Smiley
Hope you like it!

It's lovely!  I really like the print.  I've never tried shirring, is it difficult?

Thats adorable! I'd love to have a go at this. I can hardly ever find non pricey sun dresses of this style that can deal with large boobs, so i figure i'll have to make one! Cheesy

thanks Smiley

and no angeltreats, shirring isn't difficult at all. you just hand-wind elastic thread on the onto the bobbin, use normal thread in the needle and adjust how "streatchy" you want it by changing the length of the stitches. then make sure to keep the fabrics pulled taut while stitching and go round and round and round!
