*whew* at least i'm not the only one to not post photos yet. I promise I'll get them tomorrow, because I have to empty my camera before I go to a family picnic!

finally got off my butt and dug out the card reader!

Here's what I got from A Capitol Idea:

The bookmark she made me is in the pages of A Tale of Two Cities to show it off. It's a leather string with beads on either end, and I can either use it with one bead on each end, or push the two beads togther.  She put it inside the little berry pouch Smiley

I heart this bookmark. I am a fiddeler so this bookmark is great because I can move the beads up and down. My cats also love it and try to steal it while I read. I also think the beads are really pretty. I got two books with arnt pictured but one is a book on Ghost stories and one is all about Vampires. I LOVE THEM!!!

I LOVE The Secret Garden!!

I might have read it when I was a little girl, but I'm sure I no longer have my original copy. my partner said she thought of it when I mentioned my immense love for the Anne of Green Gables series.  Believe it or not, a Tale of Two Cities is the only dicken's book I haven't read!

I finally found the cord to my camera! Sorry for the wait...

Here is what my awesome swap partner nevergirl sent me...

Scary book and some tissues for my fear tears...

A cute knitted sunglasses/eyeglasses cozy (How did you know I wear eyeglasses and never can find a case I like ?)...

The cutest headband ever, I think it's knitted....

Psuedo action shot...

Thank you so much for the goodies, and I love the headband so much I want the pattern.  Grin

Oooh...I want the pattern, too!

Oh, and speaking of great swap packages, may I present the awesomeness that I got from milwjamie and Sherpa.
Milwjamie sent me two great trashy chick lit books: The Autobiography of Vivian and Carrie Pilby.  I devoured them pretty quickly.  She also crafted up a storm.

She sewed me a sweet book cover, which will allow me to read lowbrow books in public places without fear of retribution.  She also made me a wonderful Harry Potter bookmark just in time for the Harry Potter book release.  One end of it is Harry's face and the other end is a quote from the books.
Sherpa sent me two books (which I haven't had a chance to start yet...it's been a busy week).  She sent me Thornbirds and The Pursuit of Alice Thrift.

She sewed a great flowered tote bag, which will be perfect for transporting library books.  She also made the cutest embroidered book mark, which has a tiny purple flower on it.  And she included postcards from Rome.  So cool!
Thanks so much to both of you.
