Hi everyone, this is my first post so I hope I did everything right and I dont offend anyone!
So, my best friend broke up with her boyfriend last week so obviously she’s been really down. I wanted to make her something that would make her laugh and seeing as though its winter here and no one goes anywhere without their lip balm I decided to make her this cozy!

Thanks for looking!

This one came out a little differently; I couldn’t remember exactly what I did! Anyway, here’s the pattern, this is my first one so I’m sure there are mistakes or things I haven’t said clearly, if anyone has any problems with it please let me know and I’ll try to explain a bit better!
Thanks!

Penis Lip Balm Cosy
I used a size 3.5 hook, the yarn I used was without its band, but I think it was pretty close to Double Knitting weight (thinish)

Don’t join rounds, use a stitch marker or yarn to mark rounds.

Starting at the head-
Round 1-Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook
Round 2- 2 sc in each sc round
Round 3- 1 sc in each sc round
Round 4- 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, 1 sc in rest of sc round
Round 5- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, 1 sc in rest of sc around
Round 6- 1 sc in each sc round
Round 7- 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, 1 sc in rest of sc round
Round 8- Back Post sc round - (insert hook from BACK of work to front, around post of next stitch to the back again, yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook.
Round 9- Decrease around (1 sc over 2 sc of previous round)
Stuff with your choice of stuffing!
Round 10- Decrease around

What I did now, instead of finishing off and rejoining the yarn (which you can do if you want to), I just slip stitched out from the centre twice so I was about one row in from the ridge, then sc around, I had 10 sc, but as long as it will fit your lip balm its not serious exactly how many sc you have, I made mine quite tight.

Continue with sc around until the tube is long enough for your lip balm, I had about 16 rounds. Weave in end.

Testicle/Ball (make two Grin)
(If you have a better or neater way of doing this, use it!)

Round 1- Ch 2, 6 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook.
Round 2- 2 single crochet in each sc around (12 sc)
Round 3- *1 sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to* around (18)
Round 4- 1 sc in each stitch round
Round 5- *1 sc in first sc decrease over next two sc* repeat from * to* around
Round 6- Decrease around, Stuff tightly.
Round 7- Decrease twice. End off leaving longish tail for stitching, if you need to, weave the tail through the last few stitches and pull tight.

To stitch it together, I tied the two balls together, weaved the one end into a ball and then used the other tail to stitch them to the cozy.

If anyone makes one I’d love to see it!

This is hilarious!  I'm sure it will make your friend laugh.  I think the snazzy little ribbon completes it nicely!
