My best friend is due at the beginning of September, and she was unsatisfied with the selection of Boppy covers that Babies R Us had. So of course I had to make her one! But first I decided to make a practice run:

Front

Back

I'll probably give this one to her sister-in-law that just had a baby in March. I think the colour scheme matches her carseat/stroller/pack-n-play.

This is the fabulous fabric that I'm going to use for my best friend's. The lady at Joann's was rather shocked when I told her what it was going to be used for! Wink

EDIT: After weeks of procrastination, I finally finished it and gave it to her. She loved it!

Oh yeah, and I know several people on here wanted a tutorial for Boppy covers... I got mine from http://economicalbaby.blogspot.com

Great Idea! Thanks for sharing... the store bought ones are $$ and are store bought. I will pass this along. Smiley

Thanks everyone! I know she'll love it because she helped pick out the fabric. I didn't tell her what I was making, I just showed her the fabrics I was considering and she picked which one she liked best.

I agree, the store bought ones can be a little pricey (I think they're $17 at Babies R Us) and there isn't that much of a selection. The plaid one cost me about $4 total to make (the fabric was $1 a yard and the zipper was about $2.50) and the skull one will be about $7. It doesn't get much better than that!
