Well I've decided it's a lot cheaper to sew my own scrubs for school than it is to buy them, so I made my own cut out...no pattern just eyed and here is my final creation. I like it, but I'll change my pocket placement on the next and hopefully find my thread stash. I might also try to make a v neck next.

very cool! I make my own scrub tops as well Smiley they are so much cheaper and you can customize them any way you want!
Good job!

what are you going to school for?
I work in a vet's office and going to be a vet tech-so i can pick out all the cute animal prints Wink

I'm going to cosmetology school and they require us to wear scrubs. I think it's kinda odd, but scrubs are comfy. I have a question though, how do you get the v-neck piece on? I made another top last night and the collar isn't laying flat. sorry for the blurry pic

that is odd that you wear scrubs for cosmetology school... Huh
but they are comfy!! the first time i wore them to work i felt like i was in my pjs! Smiley

I use this pattern: http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M3253.htm?tab=unisex_men_uniforms&page=2
but I've made so many that I've kind of made up my own directions and i basically just use the pattern pieces!

Here is how i put mine on- paint is really hard to write with... Smiley
So for #1 this is your front piece with right side down...
#2 - I fold in about 1 inch from each side of the "V"  and iron it down flat..
#3 are the two neck pieces
#4 you want to position and pin the two neck pieces over the ironed down folded parts so they are even.
#5 check from the front to see if it looks good.
#5 (i can't count..lol)  sew along the edge of the fabric...!

That's how i do it!
Hope you understand - its my first time using paint.. lol
