Hi everybody!
I'm crocheting my first bikini, with a very small steel hook, 1,7 mm, and my right hand is aching!
Anybody knows how to make a soft handle for crochet hooks??? Huh Huh
I was planning to buy this:

but I stopped thinking: "hey how about making them myself, maybe some gals on craftster know how!" lol

Please help!

I wonder if you could use sculpey eraser clay?  It would be soft, and then you could peel it off when you were done or if you didn't like it.  I've never tried it before, but you never know....

You could felt handles to suit your hooks.

Do they fit even on very small hooks?

If they are too big, I just stuff in some tissues or fabric in the open gaps and it stays! Cheesy

I read somewhere that some people use Crayola's Model Magic.  Just wrap some around your hook handle and grip it like you do when you crochet to make your personalized impression.  It will dry firm but still somewhat "squishy"...hard to described.  Anyway, it should feel about like those pencil grips.  If you don't like it, it peels off.

I have been meaning to try this, but haven't gotten around to it.

I have a lot of Lion Brand Homespun that I'd love to trade for something else!
