How do you sew in the elastic band? Sorry, newbie sewing skills here.

Using a piece of yarn I sewed near the top to form a zigzag casing that looks like this:
VVVVVVVV

Then I took a wide piece of elastic band and measured it around the top of my bust and cut it 1 in shorter. I pulled the elastic through the casing and sewed the ends together using ordinary thread and needle. Then voila!

Another piece of advice is that when you switch to the other colored yarn make sure that you KNIT all through the first round of the new color, then the next round continue in the 3x1 rib.
