Thanks for the replies about my "U is for Utensils" card. It's actually not fabric... the checkered background is foil from several strawberry-flavoured hershey's kisses, and all the black on the card is construction paper.

I've received all 3 of my cards, but will wait until I'm not so inebriated to post a picture  Roll Eyes

Oh that's clever recycling megan+mary, with a good excuse to eat chocolate! Wink The cards you received look really lovely too.

I love the retro feel and texture of balkandina's "just my type" card (with visual pun)!

BlackArmadillo's underwear card is lovely too. Underwear seem a popular choice for U. Smiley

Thanks for the compliments on the unicorn.  Grin

All of these cards are so cool...Unique (hmmm..could have used that for U) I know I'd be happy to receive any of them.  I do like that interactive looking zipper for unzipped and I'm always partial to collage and original artwork...Guess, that about covers all of these Grin
But sniffy snout is so funny-is that a drawing, photo?Huh

everyone has done such amazing work this round!  creative and crafty.  Smiley
i'm going out of town for a week or so to visit my mom, so i wanted to go ahead and post picture of the two i've received so far, so you won't have to wait...when i get home i imagine the third will be waiting for me, so if you want to go ahead and post a picture of it, hardyswanton01, don't worry about spoiling the surprise!  otherwise, i'll just do it when i get home again.
so, without further ado--

texas hold 'em from thelilcrocheter
and universal studios from teeisme!
thanks so much!

I used a zipper on my Z card. (yes I have already V, X, and Z)   Looks like I  may have to make another.
