I would love to see a pic of the socks bruisinraincloud! They are made entirely of fun fur? Are they slippery on floors?

(sorry if its blurry!)

theres only one in this pic, but theres 2 socks, of course!

thanks for looking!!

they havent been slippery....Boo says that they are really warm, and he is going to use them as 'bed socks' during our cold Alabama winters.......LOL.....his feet are like ice sometimes Smiley

edited to add

I used a regular blue yarn for the extra thickness......

Umm, I add it to another yarn (usually a boucle type) it makes bags and socks festive (and it's easier to see your stitches)

Fabulous!  I was just wondering what to do with Fun Fur.  I've inherited, not 1, not 5, but 15 skeins of "Peacock" Fun Fur.  That's a whole heckuva lot of socks!  Hee hee.

Maybe I will create my own Muppet.  Wink

After you said that I got to thinking, we must have the same Fancy Fur because crocheted up it really would look like a dead muppet.  I think my only option is... make a dead muppet!  I'll post it when it's done, not that it's even started yet.  But I have 8 skeins of it!!  It was my mom that was unable to pass up the $1 sale, not me lol, maybe I'll make the dead muppet for her  Cheesy

So morbid... it's going to be just my luck that it becomes my 2 yr. old son's new favorite toy or something and he tells everyone that mama made him a dead muppet  Cheesy

I find that Fun Fur lends itself well to things like pillows and cushions too. That way you don't have to wear it but can enjoy the fluffy texture (ok, so I like eyelash yarn  Tongue ).
