I love that you reused fabric from the thrift store-we waste so much in our society. It's an adorable outfit. And your blog got me teary eyed remembering when my girls were five years old.

The outfit is really cute.  I am happy to once again see an inspiration.  Being that my daughter is so teeny in the waist, but long in the leg... we go through clothing much faster than need be.  If only the pants were a little longer when the waist finally fits.  Now, I know what to do!  Oh, and since I have a three year old, your experience with your daughter cracked me up, made me sad, and cracked me up again...I can't wait for each and every day!

That's really cute!

I wish my mom made clothes for me when I was little.

I also adore your blog and I am a thrift store junkie. About your little ones cast, let her pick out big flashy craft type jewels and hot glue that cast into pink princess loveliness .

The capris are great.  I need to do that to a few of mine!
My mom still calls me her bug (buggeroo if she is in silly mood) even though I have two little bugs of my own now...
