I was lucky enough to snag Queen of the Savages as a second partner in this swap after her original partner disappeared. And, when you see all of the glorious owl goodness that i received, you'll understand why. So, pardon the glut of pictures, but I just had to show it all off...

First...a bulletin board decorated with owl sketches, fabric covered thumb tacks and a series large charms that say " I heart owls."

Close-ups of the thumb tacks and the charms:

Two sets of notecards- one made with a hand-carved stamp on hand-painted paper, and the other made with fabric pieces:

A collaged note-pad (hard to see but, trust me, it is way cool)

Amazingly awesome hand-painted fabric covered buttons! I could never ever do this! And one of the owls is winking! How cute is that?!

And, a zippered pouch that has an incredible embroidered owl on it. She did it free-hand on the sewing machine! Wow! And, inside, a necklace with a fabulous shrink plastic owl pendant, and a bonus skull & scissors pendant!

Thanks a TON, Queen of the Savages!!!

craftADDchick, your items are awesome!

Here is what I received from ambraqi. I love everything to pieces.

Adorable knit owl stuffies:

A very cool oversized wallet. Here is the front:

The inside:

The back:

And last but not least, a potholder with an owl pattern in the middle:

Thanks so much, ambraqi!

BrushfireFaeries- Great stuff you got there! The stuffies are adorable (makes me wish I could knit), and the fabric on the wallet is awesome! I just could not find any cool (or even un-cool) owl fabric anywhere (where did you find it ambraqi?). And, I love the owl cable.

Well, since my original partner flaked, a lovely swap angel named KittyVegas stepped in and this is what she sent me:

Here is a pic of everything.  Sorry about the mess in the background!
a cute knitted owl
a coin purse that matches the pillow that you can see in the main pic.  and an owl patch and little pewter charm ;o)
a beautiful scarf with hot pink (love the colour!!) owl backsides.

and finally a cute little Japanese inspired stuffie.

I love everything and i feel very lucky to have kittyvegas as my swap angel ;o)

Yay! PixieDust721 you got a great package! That little knitted stuffie is adorable and I love the very cute owl fabric on the pillow and pouch. The scarf is great too- love the alternative view of the owls Wink The patch and charms are very cute, and I love the fabric she used on the little owl stuffie!

Thank you so much KittyVegas for being such a great angel!

Thank you craftADDchick for swapping with me after charles disappeared.

And also thanks to a wonderful moderator (I don't know which) who saved this swap and gave me feedback!
