Technique #2-Magazine Paper

This is sort of an introduction to collaging. Cut out images and text and collage.

But the fun part is that you should alter your images. You can alter it with ink, paint, markers, anything! The point of this exercise it to have fun! Be as goofy as you want! There is no right or wrong!

This week I will do last week's technique and this week. I promise hope!

everything on this card is supposed to be from a magazine right?  this isn't like "take magazine stuff and collage it for the background, but then add lots of small found objects or embellishments too" right?  or can it be as 'free' sort of as you want it to be?  it's funny, i really only ask b/c i like being constrained by the rules!  i find i am more creative when i am limited by what i can use/do!  i know most people are probably not like that, but strangely i am!

Hi all!  I'm back and overwhelmed by all the wonderful talent (at least that hasn't changed!).
I saw this challenge this morning and decided today was a "me" day and I'm not doing anything but playing today.
I didn't do much to my card, other than find the images -- flower background and from the 'Sunday Magazine' the pic of the girl kissing a frog I used the packing tape transfer technique.  I call it 'My Prince':

what a lovely card sindy!!  i have never heard of the packing tape transfer method, but i get it right away b/c it is so clear from your card!  thanks for sharing great art and a new technique!

No necessarily. Basically, take some magazine clippings and collage. While altering isn't required, it's very fun and if you are doing the ATC challenge, it will be a little exercise on how to alter.

I'm not sure I did this right exactly, but I saw these images in my one and only magazine (I yelled at myself for throwing them all out!) and thought they'd be nice, even if it isn't exactly how it was to be done I like them anyway

It's a series of four (my first series!!) The last two say 'sunny' and 'spicy'
