So I had these old jeans that I had patched oh about a billion times in the butt[that's what happens when you buy really cheap jeans..] but they finally died on me..so I made it into a skirt! The black and navy fabric is a lovely silk that got for 2$ a yard [!!!] which I need to find a sewing maching to sew along the bottom to stop it from fraying and the bird on the front is my all time best buddy Mr. Fabric Paint.  I'm really happy how it turned out considering I completely winged it [haha corney bird joke] Cheesy

That's a beautiful bird - did you copy the design off anywhere?
I'm very arty - which is why I'm not nearly as good at sewing. That skirt is almost a piece of art in itself!
