I always put "zippers" on my wishlist, and no one takes me seriously. So recently I went searching for zippers on eBay and got 100 of them for $20. They're the chunky plastic kind, so not very ideal for clothes. I though about making some lined zipper pouches, but that can only get so old.

Any ideas?

you could make a tube for a skirt and attach the zippers on the bottom of it to make the rest of the skirt! You could wear some of the zips partially open. Weird, but could make for an interesting swap if its not something youre into!

you could sew them side by side and make a purse or something. cover a journal with them, sew one side of them open to the edges of your sleeves or bottom of your jacket or something to make it interesting. i dunno, hope i can help u a little with your i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!<oO] problem Smiley

I saw a change purse that was made from one long length of zipper. I know that wouldnt work for short zippers, but you could always sew like 15 or 20 together to make one pouch, and one or two of the zippers could hold a secret pocket!

unless that was what you meant by "zippered pouches"

Add velcro and puff paint some designs or lettering, and you've got a little girl's bracelet.

that continuous zipper pouch sounds totally rad- you should totally make some of those

my suggestions:
you could make you're own version of the jacket M.J. wears in the thriller video, create a window curtain with zippered opening that you can unzip for more light...(now that i've visuallized it its not such a great idea..), or use it like a kind of ruffle for along the bottoms of skirts...

I'd like to represent you as your accountant and boyfriend, if that's at all possible.

If you sew clothes, you could make a dress out of the zippers...or a purse entirely from zippers.

There's a zipper pillow out there.
