I just made another summer dress, what do you think? It's from McCalls 3584. It was very easy, but I don't plan on making it again for 2 reasons. 1.  There are 3 pleats on the bodice area that serve to make my breasts look larger than I want them to. 2.  The halter gives me a headache.  I love how it looks, though, so I think I'm going to try a halter looking front for my next project, but a different back.  I need to get cranking on more summer dresses, it's getting hotter and hotter....

I'd say it only took 2 hours max. It was really, really fast!

I love it!  I like halter dresses, they hold up!  I think the pattern is great too, and Ilike your hair.  OK, Im done sucking up.  Serisously, great dress.

Your dress is beautiful, and I LOVE the fabric!  Well done!

I love the dress too (and your batick one too)!  I was just very much admiring how figure-flattering and attractive your dresses are.  I happen to be top-heavy, but I'm wondering if those two styles might look nice on me too . . . Huh??

You appear to have more of an HOURGLASS figure than I do, however.  Very Dita VonTeese!

You look beautiful.  Oops, almost forgot:  VERY FANTASTIC fabric choices!

Thank you so much Smiley  I am actually more top heavy than hourglass, it's all the in the dress style to make me look that way Smiley  I think the partial circle skirt flaring from the waist, plus a plunging v looks most flattering on woman with chests....atleast thats what I think!  The halter I wouldn't recommend unless it has a differant neck strap, the weight of the boobs on the neck is headache causing. The other dress style is PERFECT, as you can wear a bra with it as well!

Very pretty!

I made a dress using this pattern http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M4444.htm?search=4444&page=1 and it's a halter neck, but has straps attaching the neck strap and the back.  It takes some fussing to get them to line up correctly, but when it's done it really helps with the heavyness around the neck.
