I was tired of my old sewing pincushion (you know... the ugly tomato pass down the line from the beginning of sewing). So, I made myself a little cupcake ami, put some sprinkles on her and gave her life

For the pattern.... very simple!!! This sounds right, but if you find an error, let me know so I can fix it. I'm trying to stitch it in my head Smiley

I used scrap yarn and just went and stitched jimmies on. After the fact, I realized that the pins I'm going to put on it are all bright colours and probably won't look so hot with pastel frosting & jimmies Smiley Oh well. I used 9mm safety eyes.
Sew bottom to top making sure to only use the underside stitches so it doesn't show through the frosting. When you are 2/3 through, stuff. Finish sewing and you will have a new friend!
If you make one, post a picture!!! I'd love to see variations!!!
