Hello everyone!  I'm glad to finally be a part of this group (I've been spying as a guest for a while now).  Everyone seems really creative and friendly.  I thought I'd post my "Dick Cheney with bunny ears" embroidery.  It's my second attempt (the first was Janet Reno) and a bit sloppy, but I had fun with it.  Hope you enjoy!

What a great job! Incredible! You have such a painterly style! I don't find it sloppy at all.

Did you work from a photo or cartoon? I absolutely love your color choices!

this is sort of bizarre and really awesome at the same time.

it looks like you must be a good artist too?  did you do it sort of freehand, or how ...?

Hi.  I made a little round bag with paisley lining and sewed it onto that.  It's from a picture in the newspaper, and I drew the outline first with a white gel-pen (because of the dark fabric) and then embroidered it with regular thread.  Thanks for all the compliments!!  I put the Janet Reno embroidery up on my website in the "Fun" section, too.

you're kind of disturbed, aren't you Grin I'm kidding....I was just looking at your site, you are quite talented. The embroidery work is amazing....even if I think Howard Dean is scarier.....
