That is cool, no it oozes cool, no it SCREAMS cool!  Grin Anyways that is great, there is nothing better than making something pretty out of something that other people would throw aside.  thats really creative, how long did it take you to make ?

 just wear it out! I wear tiaras all the time- and i MUST figure out how to make such a cool one! when I first started wearing it, poeple found it weird, but now they thinks it's weird when i'm NOT wearing one! it's really cool!

Thanks everyone!  It's hard to say how long it took to make the hardware tiara, I did it in spurts in the car and at my in-laws after everyone else went to bed.  (I'm a night owl.)

I just made my second tiara... and again, while making it I was at my in-laws.  Curious trend...

My niece came with us, she's turning 16 this week.  She said she'd like a tiara to wear on her sixteenth birthday.  I happened to bring my leftover wire from the dollar store challenge to play with, so I went to the only area store that I thought might have beads--it was a Dollar Tree.  So for a few more dollars I got a couple of bracelets and a bead kit and put together a seaside themed tiara for her and thought I'd share.  I'd say this one took me about 3 hours, maybe a little longer to make this one.  Just wire and silver colored, white and green beads--some glass, some plastic.

Unfortunately I didn't think to use my close up focus, so the pictures aren't the clearest, but I think you'll get the idea.  Pale background:
