my mom uses Frugalreader.com and paperbackswap.com to do this all the time.

The idea of these websites is awesome. I've known paperbackswap.com, but thanks for the other link. The problem with these websites (at least PBS, which I tried joining a few years ago) is that they are US only. Craftster, on the other hand, is international. I love it for that.  Cheesy  And I bet that other international craftsters feel the same way.

Bookmooch.com is another one that's international, though a lot of people on there seem to only want to ship to within their own country.

thanks Rain. I've been looking for an international book swapping website for ages, as was probably obvious from my previous post.

The problem with these websites (at least PBS, which I tried joining a few years ago) is that they are US only.

I just checked paperbackswap a few minutes ago, and they are still, indeed, US territory only.  Sad  In the Help area, they say they'd like to expand, and have had many requests from Canada, but have not found a good shipping method for it as of yet.  It doesn't really surprise me.  Some of my craftster swap packages to Canada have taken longer than the packages to Australia. One of them had an address only six hours away by car from where I live.  Roll Eyes

I just finished what I think is the perfect book for this swap.  I hope that it will interest my partner.  I am a member of bookcrossing.com and have released several books.  Sadly none have been reported as caught yet.  I am so happy to have the other sites to look at.  Oh my gosh another thing to feed my other addiction "books".

Do I really want to tell or is it supposed to be a surprise?  Let me just say that the main character is a crafty knitter/interior decorator whose grandmother owns a yarn shop.
